Living in College Park
If the saying “It takes a village” is part of your daily mantra, then College Park might be the perfect Orlando neighborhood to call home. A dense suburban oasis nestled close to Downtown Orlando and Winter Park, residents here consistently rave about its unique and totally authentic “small- town” charm and friendly “howdy neighbor” vibe. Here neighbors still offer to take in each other’s mail, support their local organic fair trade juice shop –and always aim high when it’s time to break out the Halloween and Christmas decorations.
College Park Things to Do
While College Park benefits from the arts, culture and amenities of its bigger cousins, residents definitely don’t need to leave the hood to have a great time. The area boasts plenty of greenspace and access to nature. (Lake Ivanhoe complete with its city skyline views and gorgeous lakefront homes is close at hand for watersports, boating and people watching). Plus there is a plethora of trendy shops and eateries along the pedestrian-friendly Edgewater Drive.
On any given day, you might find yourself paddle boarding around the lake, taking the golf cart out for a spin at the historic Dubsdread Golf Club, then cooling down with some famed italian ice at Jeremiah’s before hitting the latest holiday block party with the kids. (Just don’t forget to pick something up for the potluck at the retro-style Publix on Edgewater. With its exterior and signage designed to look exactly like a 1960s original, everyone gets a big kick out of this store).
Simply put, College park has something for just about everyone with a pulse.

Here you will find single-family housing, condos, townhouses, spacious lake view homes and the Dubsdread Golf Course community.
